Employees who participate in a WS agreement are a „work-sharing unit.“ The members of the working group are all core workers who have agreed to participate in the SS agreement, reduce their working hours and share the work available equitably. The division of labour unit is usually made up of employees in a single job description or similar job. The work-sharing unit may also be made up of workers who do other work but whose workstations are interdependent. Completed applications (including Schedule A) must now be submitted at least 10 business days before the desired start date, before coVID-19 employers are invited to submit their applications at least 30 calendar days before the start date (for more information, see CoVID-19 of the work-sharing program). All agreements start on a Sunday. The SS agreement must include a reduction in the activity of the regular work programme of workers by no less than 10% (half a day) and no more than 60% (three days). When applying for the WS program, the employer is required to submit a recovery plan that outlines the steps it intends to take to address the lack of work and reduce the work-sharing unit to normal working hours by the end of the SS contract period. Appendix A is mandatory for all WS (work-sharing) applications as well as the application that is part of the work-sharing agreement. The employment contract provides for a structured form of part-time work in which two people share a job. The tasks of each operation are distributed and the hours, salaries and benefits of full-time employment are divided directly into the number of hours worked by each employee.

This contract, designed to be simple on the basis of a 50/50 distribution of workload, includes the time during which the two workers „overlap“ to ensure continuity in the office. The shared employment contract covers the requirements of a standard form section. From April 6, 2020, there will be new rules, which must be included in a written statement for newcomers, and existing staff will be able to request a written statement in accordance with the new rules. This contract complies with these requirements and must be submitted to the worker until the first working day. This sample form describes various common and individual tasks that must be performed and coordinated between employees as part of a division of labour agreement and documents the agreement of each staff member.
